Weekly Question: Your Absolute Tried & True Recipe
By
You know when you have a mountain of work, a ton of stuff to do and a to-do list that never ends and lo and behold, dinner time is here. That brings me to this week’s Weekly Question
What is your absolute tried & true recipe that you can make in your sleep that is your favorite and you never seem to get sick of?
For me, it’s my arroz con pollo. I can make that recipe with my eyes closed and it never fails, no matter how crazed my day/week/month is, somehow making this recipe brings me a level of calm and inspiration.

Spicy oven fried chicken thighs. No matter what they come out great so I know something that say will be pleasant and rewarding!

That’s hard. I have a bunch. Maybe Rozanne Gold’s Salmon with Zucchini Sauce. You cook the salmon any which way, and then boil, yup I said BOIL, chunks of zucchini with just the right amount of water and salt. Blend that with a bit of butter and you have an unbelievably delicious, really easy sauce.

Mine would be my Asian Turkey Broccoli Slaw Teriyaki Wraps from my blog. We make those a LOT. No need for the recipe any more at all. The ingredients are a staple around here now.
