Obsessed With: Nest With Chocolate Truffled Eggs

I have to say I don’t go crazy decorating for the holidays – but when I saw this Nest With Chocolate Truffled Eggs from Williams Sonoma, I thought how gorgeous it was and how perfect it would look as a dining room table centerpiece. I’m afraid to see what other Easter goodies that the Williams Sonoma catalog will feature. Thankfully, for my wallet’s sake, it hasn’t arrived in the mailbox just yet.

I know, I know – behave Lys.

My Vision of a Dream Kitchen…

If you walked into my kitchen, you’d see that I love the look of copper, oiled bronze and, occasionally, stainless. If I could get all my appliances in either copper or oiled bronze, I’d be THRILLED. The same with my pots. Currently, I have the Jenn-Air Mixer, Blender and Toaster in a copper color and they look amazing. It gives my kitchen a bit of Za Za Zu…

So, you can imagine my surprise when I saw this GORGEOUS Jenn-Air Kitchen while perusing the pages of Fine Cooking this month. You know what picture is definitely going on my vision board, right next to my Loubous. One day, I will have my kitchen – I firmly believe that. (Sorry Williams Sonoma Stove – you’ve been cast aside)

For now, I guess I’ll just have to settle for this OXO Trashcan in Oiled Bronze.

Well, it’s a start…

Last year, I started collecting some “Kitchen Ornaments” for my tree – namely the copper ornaments from Williams Sonoma along with some Starbucks ornaments.

I’m planning on putting a LITTLE tree up on my breakfast bar counter in the kitchen. Gift Alert: Holiday Wreath with Copper Molds… and More…

I am a Facebook junkie, I know. That’s not up for debate. Anywhoo – last night, Pretty Random Thoughts‘ Lesli posted something about getting a wreath that really wasn’t her favorite. So, when I was perusing around Sur La Table looking for that hostess apron I adore along with a couple other things, I saw that they had some wreaths on sale.

My favorite above all is the Holiday Wreath with Copper Molds. It’s on sale and is just so festive. I adore all things copper so you combine that with something very “holiday”, it’s on.
